My 32x doesn't work with my Everdrive anymore. It will play whatever game is already flashed to the cart but if I try to load another game it comes up with an error message. The Everdrive still works fine when the 32x is removed and I just use the Genesis. Any ideas? I have cleaned all the slots and tried the 32x on multiple consoles with the same result. Any help would really be appreciated. 32x runs normal carts perfectly.

When you use the soldering iron, do you actually touch the connections or just get it really close

SM3 on famicom is especially noisy, i have the same issue with it in an AV Famicom with RGB mod

I have this same issue with Batman and will give the reflowing a try- the chips to me looked like the solder was skimped out a bit, but I couldn't see any broken joints.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!! My 32x all of a sudden stopped working! It was the white ribbon connectors. Luckily, I was able to pull mine out easily and reinsert them. It's all up and running again!

Nintendo used to weld those batteries into the circuit board tabs. They should’ve made battery detachable sockets there for standard coin battery replacement. Like the CMOS batteries on the back of the Sega Saturn.

You’re using a Super Famicom test cartridge. You must’ve cut the region tabs on the shell, where American SNES cartridges go. Am I right???
